However, a great option is starting with Mat Pilates using body weight and equipment such as resistance bands or small props like balls on a mat away from a complex machine.

What is mat pilates?

Mat Pilates consists of a series of controlled movements that target the deep muscles of the abdomen, back, hips, and glutes, often referred to as the "powerhouse" or core muscles.

These exercises focus on proper alignment, breathing, and precise, flowing movements to improve strength, stability, and posture.

It also helps improve flexibility, muscle tone, and overall body strength.
