Things I love about my job is seeing all the clients getting fitter and stronger

I have had major back issues, and now have a pinched nerve in my neck. This has stopped me from some forms of training.

I found most Personal Trainers and group training session do not take injuries into account so I wanted to train with no pain and be the kind of trainer that accommodates people with injuries or issues.

I am inspired by people that have had the worst of life thrown at them, but have made it through.

What is the key to your wellbeing? The key to my wellbeing is moving, sleeping and eating well.

The worst excuse for not turning up to training is -

I didn’t hear the alarm.

In my spare time I like to go walking, hiking, swimming, reading books, bike riding, caravanning and exploring the world.

I cannot live without my family.

I am passionate about food and nutrition.

I live by the mantra - be the best you you can be.

The biggest lie in the fitness industry is - That strength training won’t burn calories.

It’s not what you cannot do - but what you can do.

If you just get up and start moving it will create the energy.

I believe make yourself realistic goals and move every day. Book in some classes and make the commitment.

If I won one million dollars I would take my family on an amazing adventure and help out them financially.

Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing is different because time is taken to consider what the clients need. The environment in which we train is encouraging and comfortable.

Winter or summer? Summer for sure.

Favourite exercise - bench press

Favourite piece of equipment - rower machine

Sits up or pull ups? Sit ups.
